The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting the Ambassador of Germany Jörn Rohde, with whom she discussed the security situation in the country, with special emphasis on the situation in the north of the country. President Osmani pointed out that Republic of Kosovo has not in any case incited or created tensions and that the presence of the police force in the north is in service of maintaining of the peace and public order for all citizens regardless. According to President Osmani, Serbia, through discourse and incitement is trying to destabilize the north of the country. President Osmani also reaffirmed the commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to implement substantive reforms in the field of rule of law, as a precondition for sustainable development and further advancement of the Euro-Atlantic integration process. President Osmani also congratulated Ambassador Rohde on the election process in Germany, emphasizing that Republic of Kosovo is always ready to expand its cooperation with German institutions.
