President Osmani received in a meeting the Head of EULEX, Giovanni Pietro Barbano

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a meeting the Head of EULEX, Mr. Giovanni Pietro Barbano. The meeting discussed recent developments in security and the rule of law. President Osmani and the Head of EULEX Barbano also discussed cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and EULEX within the technical mandate of EULEX for monitoring, mentoring and advising.
President Osmani met with young people from the diaspora participating in the Citizen Diplomacy Program in Kosovo

The President welcomed them to Kosovo, congratulating them on their dedication to strengthening their connection with their homeland, as well as their valuable commitment in the coming months to local institutions. President Osmani received in a meeting Ambassador Hovenier

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a regular meeting the U.S. Ambassador, Jeffrey Hovenier. During the meeting, they discussed recent developments in the country and in the context of bilateral cooperation. The approval of the Military Sales Program by the U.S. State Department was a particular focus of this meeting. On this occasion, President Osmani thanked Ambassador Hovenier for his continuous commitment and highly praised the work of institutions on both sides. President Osmani met with the KFOR Commander, Major General Özkan Ulutaş

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the KFOR Commander, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, today to discuss the security situation in the country. She thanked KFOR for its continuous commitment as the third responder to ensure security throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. In particular, she expressed gratitude to KFOR for increasing the number of troops supporting Kosovo institutions in patrolling the border with Serbia, especially after the act of aggression by Serbia on 24 September. During the meeting with Commander Ulutaş, President Osmani emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination between KFOR and its primary security partner, the Kosovo Police, as well as coordination with all security institutions in Kosovo, for the benefit of stability and security for all citizens of Kosovo, regardless of ethnicity. Furthermore, the President was informed of the condition of the multi-ethnic force soldiers injured in the north of Kosovo in May. President Osmani decrees 15 judges with initial mandate

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, at the proposal of the Judicial Council of Kosovo, decreed today 15 judges with an initial mandate.
