President Osmani received the Ambassadors of QUINT countries and the EU
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the Ambassadors of QUINT countries and the EU Ambassador to discuss the latest developments in the country, following the recent terrorist attack on Kosovo’s vital infrastructure. During the meeting, President Osmani highlighted the violation that has been made to Kosovo’s national security through attacks on vital infrastructure. The reaction of the responsible institutions to this situation and for the management of which both President Osmani and the ambassadors expressed the highest praises were discussed at the meeting. At the same time, President Osmani emphasized that attacks such as the last one aim not only to destabilize Kosovo but also pose a serious threat to the stability of the entire region. President Osmani called on the international community to condemn this terrorist attack and to stand united against any attempt to undermine peace and security in Kosovo. She also reiterated that preventing such attacks in the future should be the main focus. Later in the day, Madam President will also meet with the country’s security institutions.
President Osmani received the KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barduani
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani held a meeting today with the KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barduani, following the recent terrorist attack on the vital infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo. President Osmani reiterated at the meeting that the terrorist attack on vital infrastructure proves Serbia’s intentions to destabilize Kosovo and the entire region, violating the national security of our country and aiming to create a humanitarian crisis. Madam President expressed her high appreciation to all of Kosovo’s institutions for the successful management of the created situation and also thanked KFOR for the immediate offer of all of their capacities to help overcome this situation and prevent similar attacks in the future.
President Osmani received a phone call from the President of Albania Bajram Begaj
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received a phone call from the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj, following the terrorist attacks on the vital infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo. President Begaj reaffirmed Albania’s unwavering support for Kosovo, especially in light of recent security developments. During the phone conversation, President Osmani informed President Begaj of the recent developments in the north of the country, the violation of national security through attacks on critical infrastructure, as well as with the measures taken by Kosovo institutions to manage this situation. Both presidents emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between Kosovo and Albania in addressing regional security challenges.
President Osmani cancels the state visit to Brunei due to security developments in the country
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, following the terrorist attacks on the vital infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo, has canceled her state visit to Brunei. Madam President was scheduled to travel to Brunei this morning. In a telephone conversation held today, President Osmani informed His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of the current security developments in the country and they agreed to undertake the planned visit in the near future and at a time convenient to both parties. This decision was made after careful consideration of the evolving security situation and the need to coordinate with all institutions in the country in order to guarantee the security of all citizens of Kosovo.
Statement by President Osmani on recent developments
Serbian criminal gangs have lost every single battle against Kosovo institutions. They will fail again, in their cowardly attempts to attack the vital infrastructure of our Republic through terrorist acts. The protection of constitutionality and legality in every corner of the country and the uncompromising fight against these criminal elements are vital. I call on our citizens to continue to show restraint and maturity while our institutions are investigating the case and repairing the damage with the utmost professionalism. In addition to our institutions, our international security partners have immediately offered their assistance in reparation of the damage caused and in the provision of water supplies, as well as in the investigation of this act committed against our state and our citizens.

It is with deep sorrow that we received the news of the passing of Professor Sami Repishti, a great patriot, a prominent voice for justice, freedom and independence of Kosovo. Professor Sami Repishti’s work is a testament to courage and dedication – standing at the forefront of the fight for human rights and the fight for Kosovo’s freedom and independence. His testimony in US institutions, his writings on the history of Kosovo and his deep love for our people will never be forgotten. He was a visionary patriot and leader whose efforts helped shape the path to our independence. Eternal gratitude for a life dedicated to the Albanian cause! May Professor Repishti rest in peace. His legacy will live on as long as our nation exists!
