The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a meeting the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Hulusi Akar.
At the meeting with Minister Akar, President Osmani pointed out that Kosovo's goal is NATO membership and asked for Turkish support in this process.
President Osmani and Minister Akar also discussed the possibilities for military cooperation and the possibility of supply of military equipment.
The opportunities for cooperation in the field of education and training of officers, non-commissioned officers and KSF pilots were also discussed at the meeting.
At the meeting with Minister Akar, President Osmani stated in relation to the current political situation the constant threats and provocations from Serbia, which aim to destabilize the region.
