The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani said that the end of the year coincides with the KLA Veterans Day, which is dedicated to the people who had the courage to become defenders of the homeland during the most difficult moments, as well as heralds of freedom.
“This date falls on the same day when 3 decades ago, on December 30 1991, the legendary commander Adem Jashari and his family started the resistance through a direct confrontation with the forces of the Serbian genocidal regime, thus marking the beginning of the military resistance of the army, which “he led them until his fall together with his family”, said President Osmani.

Today we honor all those veterans who did not hesitate but resisted, did not hold back but fought back, and did not retreat but gave an impetus to our freedom.
