The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a meeting the non-resident Ambassador of Qatar to Kosovo, Ali bin Hamad Al-Marri, whom she thanked for the continuous support to Kosovo.
Ambassador Al-Marri presented to President Osmani the official invitation of the Emir of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani to pay a visit to this country, at a time convenient for both parties.
President Osmani thanked Ambassador Al-Marri for the invitation and stressed that relations between the two countries are excellent.
President Osmani also pointed out that Kosovo is interested in expanding political and economic cooperation in the field of defense, culture and in other areas of mutual interest. In the context of this cooperation, President Osmani requested that Qatar eases the visa regime for the citizens of Kosovo.
