The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani during her visit to Estonia was today received by the Speaker of the Parliament, Jüri Ratas.
At the meeting, President Osmani thanked Mr. Speaker Ratas for Estonia's support to Kosovo.
Furthermore, Ms. Osmani stated that Kosovo aims to build a sustainable partnership with Estonia as an exemplary country in the field of e-government and democratization. President Osmani emphasized that among other things, she awaits Estonia's support on Kosovo's European path. In this context, President Osmani mentioned the fact that Kosovo has met all the criteria set for visa liberalization, although they were twice as many set for Kosovo as for any other country. President Osmani mentioned that with Estonia, Kosovo aims to deepen bilateral relations, while expecting support for Kosovo's membership in multilateral organizations.
At the meeting with the Speaker of the Estonian Parliament President Osmani added that Kosovo welcomes the expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation during reactivation phase of the parliamentary friendship group.
