The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, has started today a cycle of visits to Kosovo municipalities, visiting Gjilan today, where she participated in several activities.
“An intense day full of meetings in Gjilan. I started from here the series of visits to Kosovo municipalities, in a meeting with the energetic Mayor, Mr. Alban Hyseni. “We will address the preoccupations, concerns and problems jointly”, said President Osmani.

An intense day full of meetings in Gjilan. I started from here the series of visits to Kosovo municipalities, in a meeting with the energetic Mayor, Mr. Alban Hyseni. We will address the preoccupations, concerns and problems jointly. In “Nazmi Hoxha” school, from today students with special needs will have easier access thanks to a UNICEF project, which we inaugurated today. We discussed with representatives of the shelter and civil society the position of women, the eradication of gender-based violence, women’s empowerment and involvement in decision-making. As for businesses, I saw their commitment to work tirelessly even at this time when we are facing a crisis. We will continue with a visit to Dobërçan of Gjilan where we will be hosted by the family of the martyr Nusret Hajdari.
Developed municipalities make the state developed.
