Prishtina, 19 September 2021 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has departed for New York, accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister, Donika Gërvalla.
President Osmani will have a series of meetings with the presidents, prime ministers and foreign ministers of delegations of several participating states on the margins of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Osmani will also be meeting with the Albanian diaspora in America, as well as with political figures who have supported Kosovo's path to independence and to its state-building. At Columbia University, the President will hold a lecture and discussion session.
The meetings will be in function of the efforts towards strengthening Kosovo's international subjectivity.
