The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani commemorated the humanitarians Latif Berisha and Agim Hajrizi.
Madam President’s full statement:
When our war for liberation took off and on the same day the NATO bombings started targeting the Serbian genocidal regime, Kosovo lost two humanitarians: the writer and intellectual Latif Berisha and the union activist Agim Hajrizi together with his mother and his son.
Both of them were devoted activists in the effort for the freedom and independence of Kosovo, and both of them were killed on the same day by the Serbian genocidal Serbian.
Let us preserve our memory of them along with admiration and respect for their work and contribution.
They will always remain in our memory and will be an inspiration to future generations!
