President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, visited today the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo.
Madam President, accompanied by the Minister of Health, Mr. Imet Rrahmani, initially met with the UCCK Director, Mr. Curr Gjocaj and with the Director of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic, Mrs. Myrvete Paçarada who informed her with the work of this Clinic, followed by President Jahjaga’s visit to the mother who gave birth to the first child born at this institution in 2016, who extended you her and the baby long and happy lives together.
At a media statement at this occasion, President Jahjaga said:
We are here at the University Clinical Centre’s Gynaecology Clinic, as is our annual tradition to visit the first born child of the year. I had initially a meeting with the Minister and Director of the UCCK and Clinic Director Paçarada. I got the opportunity to get informed on last night’s work of the medical personnel and I used the opportunity to thank them for an exceptional and professional work shown not only last night but throughout the year we just left behind. I also visited mother Jetmire, who had gone through a good delivery process and I congratulated her on the birth her child. I also wished a long and happy life to the baby, full of health and happiness together with his family. I also use the opportunity to wish once again a prosperous and successful year to all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
