President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, on the occasion of March 7th, Teacher’s Day, visited the “Zenel Hajdini” primary school in Prishtina, where she was received by the school’s director, Mr. Nazif Jashari and the staff of this school.
Madam President also met with the Ms. Xhemajlie Oruçi, a teacher at this school who has contributed to the education of children for over 40 years, and pupils of her class.
President Jahjaga thanked Ms. Xhemajlie Oruçi for her contribution to the education of many generations of the citizens of Kosovo.
“I would like to convey my best wishes to you and all teachers of Kosovo on the occasion of March 7th. Many generations also convey their gratitude to your 40 years long contribution, in order to get to where we are today. On each March 7th I undertake a similar activity, and this year I have chosen to visit your school. I wish you lots of good luck and successes”, said President Jahjaga.
Teacher Xhemajlie Oruçi thanked President Jahjaga for her visit and added:
“For me it’s an exceptional pleasure to have worked at this school for 40 years. On March 24th I will end my carrier at this school. I would like to thank you on my personal behalf and on behalf of the staff of this school for your visit. For me personally, it is a pleasure to end my 40 year long carrier with such a surprise and an exceptional visit from President Jahjaga, which I shall never forget”, said teacher Oruçi.
