President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at an introductory meeting the new Chairman of the Consultative Council on Communities, Mr. Veton Berisha, accompanied by his deputies, Mr. Guner Shaban and Izudin Sagdati.
President Jahjaga congratulated the new members of the Consultative Council on Communities on their new appointments and wished them lots of success and conveyed her full support for the engagements and activities of this Council, in accordance with its mandate.
Madam President also stated that Consultative Council on Communities is a powerful voice for all the communities at the Office of the President of the republic of Kosovo.
Chairman of the Consultative Council on Communities, Mr. Veton Berisha, emphasized the importance of the existence of this council in lieu of protection of the rights of minorities in Kosovo. He thanked President Jahjaga for her continuous support offered o the members of this council, a council which represents all communities of Kosovo.
