The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received in a meeting the representatives of the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO).
President Jahjaga said that she has invited the monitoring organizations to ensure the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that their vote is free to elect their legal and legitimate representatives. She praised the commitment of the local observers as well as the the commitment of the international ones and welcomed and thanked ENEMO for the commitment and the work in following-up the municipal elections.
President Jahjaga said that the elections hold on the 3rd of November have demonstrated the political maturity in the country and stressed that she expects that the entire process of the municipal elections to be completed with success, calm and honest.
The ENEMO Head of Mission, Zlatko Vujovic, said that this is the third time that they observe the elections in Kosovo and emphasized that an overall progress in the the preparation and conduction of the elections is visible. He said that in the repetition of the elections in the north but also in the second round in some municipalities he will engage ENEMO observers.
