President of the republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, has arrived in Berlin, Germany, for an official visit upon an invitation from the President of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck.
President Jahjaga will be meeting with President Gauck on Thursday, to discuss Kosovo’s European agenda, actual developments in the country and the cooperation between the countries of the South-Eastern Europe.
During her stay in Germany, President Jahjaga will also be meeting with the Mayor of Berlin, Mr. Frank Hankel and a group of diplomatic representatives in Berlin. Madam President will also hold a lecture at the German Institute on Foreign Relations, DGAP, in front of an audience of diplomats and experts on South-Eastern European issues.
President Jahjaga will also speak on institutional endeavours and on mechanisms established on protection of human rights in front of the representatives of the humanitarian organisations at the Berlin office of the Human Rights Watch (HRW).
