On the occasion of Christmas Holyday, President Jahjaga sent her felicitation to the Bishop of the Diocese of Kosovo, Monsignor Dodë Gjergji and to the believers of the catholic faith:

On this sacred day of Christmas, I convey to you with respect my most cordial wishes to you and all the worshipers of catholic faith in the Republic of Kosovo.
I wish that solidarity, harmony, wellbeing and understanding will reign within each and every family.
On this day, let us remember all those who gave their contribution for the freedom, independence and democracy in Kosovo.
The religious tolerance and understanding, nurtured for centuries, is the foundational value of the Republic of Kosovo.
As in previous years, this year as well, the Christmas celebrations carry the message of love and peace among people and the love of the creator for mankind.
To yourself and catholic worshipers, I wish that you may spend Christmas with your families and loved ones, in an atmosphere of peace, tolerance and love.
