11 new interns at the Presidency
The Presidency has finalized the selection process of 11 interns who have signed contracts for engagement for a certain period of time. Their engagement aims to provide interns with opportunities to gain institutional experience by enabling them to contribute to projects related to the Presidency’s scope of activities. The Office of the President will continue to have its doors open and support young people in their professional empowerment through such programs.

President Osmani in Dayton: NATO is the guarantee of our peace and our future
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, in her speech before the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, emphasized that the Euro-Atlantic alliance has been and remains the backbone of our collective security and hope to future generations. Recalling NATO’s intervention in Kosovo in 1999 and the decisiveness in Dayton in 1995, she stated that the alliance has fulfilled its mission at a time when people were facing their darkest hours. “From the fear of going to school to the youth who are now studying at the best universities in the world; from parents who have been fired from their jobs to proud grandparents who see a prosperous new generation; from dangerous streets to cities filled with music, art and cultural life,” emphasized President Osmani, as she spoke about the results of NATO’s intervention in Kosovo. According to President Osmani, peace is not just the silencing of weapons, but the will to live together. Expressing Kosovo’s determination to contribute to Euro-Atlantic security, President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo has already allocated 2% of GDP for defense, with the aim of doubling this in the coming years. “We are ready to do our part. Now it is NATO’s turn to open its doors,” emphasized President Osmani.

President Osmani at the US Congress and NATO Parliamentary Assembly Dinner: Eternal Gratitude to Our Friends of Freedom and Peace
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, who is staying in the US at the invitation of the US Congress, to participate in the spring session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, delivered a speech at the dinner organized by the US Congress and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. In her address to senior Congressional leaders and representatives of NATO member countries, President Osmani emphasized that peace is not inherited, but is continuously build, nourished and defended. “Today I represent a free and sovereign Kosovo, a land that was once devastated by war, but that now speaks the language of peace, hope and gratitude. US and NATO allied soldiers came to Kosovo not seeking glory, but because they believed in the fundamental right of every human being to live free from oppression”, said President Osmani. According to President Osmani: “At the most fragile moments, they offered us shelter not only for our homes, but also for our dreams. Because of them, the children of Kosovo finally sleep safely. Because of then, a state rose from the ashes”. In this context, President Osmani said that the American soldiers who came in uniform and stood firm will always have a home in Kosovo.
