The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the credentials of the new non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena.
During the meeting, President Osmani welcomed Ambassador Bhaholpolbhayuhasena and emphasized the importance of further strengthening of the friendly relations between the two countries. She highly praised the cooperation between Kosovo and Thailand, describing it as a relationship built on shared values.
Ambassador Bhaholpolbhayuhasena expressed his readiness to work towards deepening cooperation between the two countries, while congratulating President Osmani on organizing this year’s International Forum on Women, Peace and Security, which was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Lalivan Karnchanachari.
At the meeting, the President recalled her visit to Thailand in 2022, marking the tenth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, as a key moment in deepening the partnership between the two countries. She emphasized that Thailand’s decision to lift visa requirements for Kosovo citizens represents a significant step towards enhancing economic and cultural exchanges between our countries, businesses, and people.
In conclusion, President Osmani reaffirmed the readiness of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to further advance bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Thailand, in the spirit of partnership and mutual respect.
