The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has called for vaccination.
President Osmani authorizes the sending of KSF troops and equipment to assist Albania in extinguishing fires
Following the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to provide assistance to the Republic of Albania in extinguishing fires, President Vjosa Osmani, in the capacity of the supreme commander, in accordance with her competencies has signed the authorization to send KSF troops and equipment on a humanitarian operation and at the same time informed the Assembly of Kosovo regarding this action. The KSF troops and equipment will be made available to the Albanian authorities in order to extinguish and bring the fires under control.
President Osmani proposes to the Assembly of Kosovo for the position of General Auditor of the Republic of Kosovo, Ms. Vlora Spanca
Following an open and transparent process and with the participation in the
Commission of two general secretaries, representatives of the CBK, civil society, the
University of Prishtina, supervised by BIRN and the Trade Union of the National Audit
Office, based on the constitutional and legal powers, the President of the Republic of
Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani today signed the decision by which Ms. Vlora Spanca is
proposed to the Assembly of Kosovo for the position of Auditor General of the Republic
of Kosovo.
President Osmani decrees the Law on Budget Review
Based on the constitutional competencies, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has decreed the promulgation of Law No. 08/L-016 on the amendment and supplementation of Law No. 07/L-041 on budget appropriations for the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo for 2021, approved by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on 28.07.2021 and accepted by the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo on 04.08.2021.
President Osmani calls for caution against fires
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has reacted as in some regions of Kosovo the situation has been aggravated by fires and this danger has not yet been overcome.
President Osmani decrees the promulgation of two laws approved by the Assembly
In accordance with her constitutional competencies, President Vjosa Osmani has decreed the promulgation of the Law on Amending and Supplementing the Law on Vehicles. Through Decree no. 113/2021, Law no. 08 / L-004 on amending and supplementing the Law No. 05 / L-132 on Vehicles, approved by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on 22.07.2021 and received by the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, on 02.08.2021, has entered into force. With the entry into force of this Law, the process of homologation of imported vehicles in the Republic of Kosovo finally comes to an end. President Osmani has also decreed the promulgation of Law no. 08 / L-014 on the ratification of the Financial Agreement for IPA 2020 between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union, approved by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on 22.07.2021 and received by the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo on 02.08.2021.
