President Osmani received the US Charge d’Affaires Anu Prattipati
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the United States Charge d’Affaires, Ms. Anu Prattipati. During the meeting, they discussed Kosovo’s membership in the Board for Peace, as well as recent developments in the country. In this context, President Osmani emphasized that the alignment of the Republic of Kosovo with the United States of America has always been the right and strategic decision. She underlined that Kosovo believes in President Trump’s leadership and remains available to provide concrete and responsible contributions to international efforts to maintain peace, stability and security. President Osmani and Ms. Prattipati also exchanged views on a number of important issues within the framework of bilateral cooperation, as well as on the President’s international agenda during the coming months.

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received yesterday the President-elect of Rotary International, Mr. Olayinka Hakeem Babalola, to whom she wished lots of success in the new tenure. At the meeting, President Osmani praised the commitment and continuous contribution of Rotary International in Kosovo and reiterated the commitment to continue joint work, especially in support of the healthcare sector. In this spirit, Madam President commended the important support of Rotary International provided to the Oncology Department at UCCK. Both parties agreed to continue communication in order to find concrete ways to implement support in this sector, as well as in strengthening youth and entrepreneurship.

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Gerard McGurk, with whom she discussed the latest political and institutional developments in Kosovo. The process of the parliamentary elections of December 28th was discussed at the meeting, with the President emphasizing the importance of the swift establishment of institutions. President Osmani and Ambassador McGurk also discussed the importance of continued cooperation between the institutions of Kosovo and the OSCE in order to strengthen democracy and the rule of law.
