Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, received today the Executive Director of the Kosovo Centre for the Rehabilitation of Torture Survivors (KRRT), Ms. Feride Rushiti.
“I thanked Ms. Rushiti for her tireless commitment and extraordinary dedication in supporting survivors of sexual violence during the war, a mission of particular importance, not only for the survivors and our society, but also for empowering justice and dignity in our country,” stated Acting President Haxhiu.
Acting President Haxhiu assured Ms. Rushiti said that she shall enjoy the full support of herself and of the institutions in every effort to advance the rights, dignity and well-being of survivors.
