On International Women’s Day, I bow with respect to the women of Kosovo, the pillars of family and society. Thank you to the mothers, teachers, women leaders, who bravely paved the way, as well as to all the women who keep our society afloat each and every day: in education, healthcare, justice, business, science, culture, media, diplomacy and politics. Gratitude also to those who face challenges every day, as well as to the women who are no longer with us, but remain part of our history and freedom. I wish that the voice of women continues to be heard, their potential to be supported and their commitment to be appreciated! The future of Kosovo is as bright as the opportunities we give to women! Happy March 8th !
President Osmani: March 7th is the holiday of the spirit of our nation, which survived thanks to the Albanian language

March 7 is the holiday of the spirit of our nation, which survived thanks to the Albanian language. The Albanian school was an act of resistance, at home, in basements and in conditions of sacrifice. In times of persecution, Albanian teachers did not give up. They kept alive the language, the book and the dream of a nation that wanted to live free. From the first school benches to the universities, it is the same mission, to raise generations who love the language, the homeland and freedom. Therefore, March 7th is a day of gratitude and respect for every teacher who, through knowledge and dedication, educates generations and strengthens the foundations of the state. Happy March 7th to all teachers!
