The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, represented the Republic of Kosovo at the second summit of the European Political Community (EPC) in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, where she met with other European leaders and with whom she discussed the latest developments in the region as well as the deepening of cooperation in overcoming security challenges in Europe. President Osmani met President Macron, Chancellor Scholz and High Representative Borrell
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during the proceedings of the second summit of the European Political Community (EPC) in Chişinău, Moldova, held a meeting with the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz and the EU high representative for foreign policy, Josep Borrell. The latest political and security developments in Kosovo and the region were discussed at the meeting. President Osmani reiterated that Kosovo is committed to continuing the coordination with international partners on the processes that the country is going through. Madam President emphasized that Kosovo’s efforts to establish law and order in the north of the country are being challenged by illegal Serbian structures supported by Vucic and turned into criminal gangs, which have attacked the Kosovo Police and KFOR and are continuing with attacks on journalists and citizens. President Osmani also stated that such actions are aimed at destabilizing Kosovo and the region and potentiated that a unique opposing stance is needed on the part of the EU states against trends that endanger peace and stability in the region. At the meeting with President Macron and Chancellor Scholz, President Osmani reconfirmed Kosovo’s principled position on the implementation of the agreements reached in Brussels and Ohrid in their entirety.
President Osmani: Children’s Day was dedicated to the 1133 innocent children who were killed in the most gruesome manner by the Serbian genocidal regime during the 1998-1999 war
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani in honor of June 1st, Children’s Day, hosted a group of children’s ballet, with an artistic performance choreographed by Rreze Qerreti, as well as Ilda Nuhiu and Arta Haiziri, accompanied by the representative of the local company Flori Diamonds, Trim Gjota. This day was dedicated to the 1133 innocent children who were killed in the most gruesome manner by the Serbian genocidal regime during the 1998-1999 war, while the number of children killed throughout the 90s is even greater. Their memory will be etched forever in a brooch carefully curated by Flori Diamonds, which is adorned with 109 precious stones in memory of the 109 still missing children . President Osmani said that this brooch will remain at the Presidency as a daily reminder of the sacrifice of our loved ones and through it, the history of each of the children will echo around the world in its own silent but resounding way.

President Vjosa Osmani represents the Republic of Kosovo at the European Political Community leaders’ summit
At the invitation of the organizers of the European Political Community, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has departed for Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, where she will be representing the Republic of Kosovo at the second summit of the European Political Community (EPC). President Osmani will join 46 other heads of state of the European continent, together with leaders of EU institutions, aiming the promotion of political dialogue and strengthening of cooperation in addressing the most urgent security and stability issues in Europe. In addition to participating in the main sessions of the European Political Community, President Osmani will also hold meetings with other European leaders. President Osmani will convey to European leaders the message of the unwavering commitment of the people and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to the Euro-Atlantic integration of Kosovo, as a guarantee for sustainable peace in the region and beyond. During the bilateral meetings, President Osmani will discuss the expansion of cooperation in advancing Kosovo’s membership application to EU, issues related to the security situation in the region, as well as overcoming of common challenges. The European Political Community is a platform for political coordination created on the basis of the proposal of the French President Emmanuel Macron, which aims to promote dialogue and cooperation on issues of common interest, strengthening security, stability and prosperity on the European continent.
