The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the Hungarian Minister for European Union Affairs, János Bóka. President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo is a positive example in the region. It has taken important steps to strengthen the rule of law, fight corruption and organized crime, improve transparency, and promote good governance. In this context, President Osmani stressed the essential importance of cooperation to combat Serbian criminal gangs, which are supported, trained and financed by Serbia, and therefore stressed the need for communication and coordination in order to prevent further possible attacks. During the meeting, President Osmani emphasized the excellent relations between Kosovo and Estonia and reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to building a future based on democratic values, stability and prosperity and emphasized her commitment to further strengthening of ties between Kosovo and Estonia.
