The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a farewell meeting the non-resident ambassador of Japan to Kosovo Mr. Akira Mizutani, to whom she expressed her gratitude for his engagements to date.
Japan, according to President Osmani, is an ally and a strategic partner and she thanked Japan for the support so far and committed to further expansion of the excellent relations between the two countries.
President Osmani emphasized that both countries share the same values and principles in international relations and world affairs.
In this context, President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo counts on Japanese support in the process of membership in international organizations.
Both interlocutors emphasized the potential for increased cooperation in the field of economy, education, information technology, healthcare, environment and other areas of common interest.
