Under the chairmanship of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, a meeting was held today of the National Anti-Corruption Council Working group, with participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Justice, European Integrations Ministry, Kosovo Prosecution Service, Judicial Council of Kosovo, Kosovo Police, Anti-Corruption Agency and the Civil Society.
Implementation of activities identified at the previous meeting was discussed at the today’s meeting and it is stated that majority of the institutions has accomplished its duties. Representatives of the institutions mandated with fighting corruption said that they have identified additional activities which will be presented to the National Anti-Corruption Council for which the support from the Council will be sought.
National Anti-Corruption Council Working Group is determined to continue with the implementation in accordance with the action plan, thus improving the further coordination of the institutions tasked to fight corruption.
National Anti-Corruption Council, established by a Presidential Decree last year, is led by the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga.
