Kindness and solidarity in challenging times made me return to Zllakuqan in Klina, whose residents in 1999 helped thousands of residents from the Mitrovica region who had been driven from their homes by the Serbian genocidal regime of Serbia and forced to walk all the way to the border with Albania.
The noble hearts of Zllakuqan made possible the triumph of compassion over genocidal war and the victory of solidarity over fear, so thank you from the bottom of my heart, for reaffirming faith in the power of kindness!
