The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani visited the municipality of Klina today, as part of the visits to the municipalities of the country.
President Osmani’s full post:
Thank you Klina for the hospitality!
We started the visit to this municipality, located among picturesque landscapes, which stands out for its diversity and religious harmony, with a fruitful discussion with the mayor Zenun Elezaj on the challenges the municipality is facing, as well as various projects benefiting its citizens.
In conversation with the youngsters, members of the “Ardhmëria” organization, it was encouraging to hear about their voluntary initiatives and the extraordinary potential for the future.
It was also a pleasure to get to know the work carried out by businesses of the municipality, including the makers of the”Grembeer” craft beer, children’s clothing manufacturer “Vesbaby”, the “Duhani” plant as well as the “Elava” company, which is run by women of non-majority communities. The entrepreneurial and creative spirit of the women and men of Klina, who through their work are increasing the well-being and opportunities of citizens without distinction, was impressive.
In the Parish of Zllakuqan, I thanked the residents of the village, who in 1999, opened their hearts and homes and came to the aid of those deported by the Serbian genocidal regime.
Thank you again for the warm hospitality to all the citizens of Klina, including our expats, and see you at the next municipality!
