The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani said that today, on the International Day of Bosniaks, I thanked the members of the Bosniak community of Kosovo for their contribution to our freedom, independence and state building.
“We share a common history, full of pain and suffering, but also a sense of pride, as we survived the Serbian genocide against us with determination and courage,” emphasized President Osmani.
President Osmani also added that “As an expression of our gratitude for the historical engagement of Bosniaks, I awarded the honours to four outstanding Bosnian personalities for their contribution to freedom as well as for their indelible traces in art, culture, science and humanity”.
