The President of the Republic of Kosovo supports the decision of the Government to process the constitutional amendments related to the Special Court. This is the first step towards the realization of the obligation of the Republic of Kosovo arising from the international agreement voted with 2/3 votes of the MPs.
The establishment of the court reflects the commitment of Kosovo for an independent and impartial process to deal with the accusations of the report of the Council of Europe in a credible way. This court will focus on individuals and individual actions and is not a trial of the collective efforts of our people for liberation and freedom.
