Regional Center of Excellence for Women, Peace and Security in Kosovo as an innovative mechanism for facilitating inter-institutional cooperation focused on ensuring the well-being of women and girls

In the framework of the inter-regional conference “Marking the 20th Anniversary of the Kosovo Gender Equality Agenda – 30 Years After Beijing: The Way Forward”, organized by the Agency for Gender Equality of the Republic of Kosovo, the advisor to President Osmani, Ms. Dora Musa, presented the achievements, priorities and plans of the Regional Center of Excellence for Women, Peace and Security in Kosovo.

Given the current global security situation, special emphasis was given to the International Forum for Women, Peace and Security, as a global event that now brings together in Kosovo the main actors in the field to discuss the challenges faced by women, as well as the most effective ways to address them.

During the discussion, the Center’s latest activities, key partners, and new opportunities for cooperation were also addressed, which create space for new initiatives based on the principles and objectives of the Agenda for Women, Peace, and Security.
