Today, on the 13th anniversary of her passing, we respectfully remember the collaborator of the historical President, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, the stoic woman, lawyer, political activist, and former Minister, Nekibe Kelmendi, whose legacy continues to inspire and guide us.
She dedicated her entire life to the profession of law and political engagement for a free and independent Kosovo, bravely facing the murder of her husband and her two sons by Milosevic’s genocidal regime.
Her determination, courage and commitment remain a reference for current and future generations.
