Pristina, December 19 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, received in a meeting, Nataša Kandić from the Humanitarian Law Fund, and talked about the issues that afflict the war victims and their families.
Kandić has talked about the initiative “KOMRA” which aims to bring together the political leaders of the former Yugoslav countries involved in conflict between them in order to promise to clarify the fate of all missing persons.
“We advocate a joint regional commission to confront the past”, said Kandić.
President Thaçi said that it is the obligation of all to support every initiative that leads to the closure of the wounds of the war and reconciliation, and in particular those working for the clarification of the fate of the missing and the conclusion of the agony of their family members.
“I will support every initiative which is functioning to help war victims, especially the families of missing persons”, said President Thaçi.
