The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka Pula, met today with the head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Mufti Naim Tërnava, who congratulated her on assuming office and wished her success in the execution of her mandate.
During the meeting, they discussed the importance of interfaith coexistence and the preservation of the tradition of tolerance, understanding, and mutual respect within Kosovar society.
President Shiroka Pula acknowledged the contribution of the Islamic Community of Kosovo to the promotion of interfaith harmony and the strengthening of the values of solidarity, peace, and understanding among citizens.
She emphasized that interfaith coexistence and respect for diversity are significant values of Kosovar society—and part of its civic identity—that must be preserved and cultivated into the future.
