On May 16th 1999, the patriot and intellectual Ukshin Hoti was forcibly abducted from Dubrava Prison and since that day there has been no trace of him.
A brilliant mind, a free spirit and a unique visionary of the national caucus. Ukshin Hoti was the philosopher of the resistance, a man who saw Kosovo’s independence as a historical and moral necessity.
His absence remains an open wound for the nation.
He is a memory, a lesson and a challenge for our present, hence the unraveling of his fate is our ongoing obligation.
