The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, will represent the Republic of Kosovo at the 6th Summit of the European Political Community (EPC) Leaders, which this year is being held in Tirana, Albania, and which will bring together 45 European leaders, including those of EU institutions.
President Osmani will be received by Prime Minister Rama, while during the summit, she will participate at the two main sessions of the European Political Community Summit, and together with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, she will co-chair the leaders’ roundtable on the topic “An Open Europe with Secure Borders”.
This leaders’ roundtable will address the security challenges on the continent and the opportunities related to migration and mobility, with a particular emphasis on empowering young people, as well as on harnessing the potential of the diaspora as an engine for economic development and stability. This roundtable co-chaired by President Osmani will be attended by leaders from across Europe, including the prime ministers of Italy, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, among others.
During the Summit, President Osmani will also hold bilateral meetings with other European leaders.
The European Political Community is a platform for European leaders to discuss key issues facing the continent. Launched in 2022, the EPC aims to strengthen political and economic ties across Europe, provide solutions to common challenges, and deepen cooperation between EU countries and those outside it.
