The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Kosovo Jürg Sprecher, whom she congratulated on his new tenure and expressed her hope that during his mandate the bilateral relations between the two countries will be further intensified.
According to President Osmani, the Albanian diaspora in Switzerland is a strong connecting bridge between the two countries and has a tremendous potential in strengthening of the interstate partnership.
Both sides potentiated the very good relations between our two countries and their further expansion, with a special focus on economic cooperation.
Madam President thanked the Swiss state for the continuous support to the Republic of Kosovo, and informed Ambassador Sprecher in greater detail with the security situation in Kosovo and the act of aggression committed by Serbia on September 24 upon the Republic of Kosovo.
