The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the former Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations Joachim Rücker, whom she thanked for his contribution prior to and following the declaration of Kosovo’s Independence. At this meeting, Mr. Rücker was also accompanied by former president Fatmir Sejdiu.
Praising his role throughout this period, President Osmani also stated the need for further cooperation with allies in order to advance Kosovo’s international position.
President Osmani emphasized that the institutions of Kosovo are committed to addressing the challenges and achieving the common objectives in development and stability in Kosovo and the region, together with international partners.
Mr. Rücker expressed his full support to Kosovo on its Euro-Atlantic integration path.
