The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani received today in a meeting the Croatian Ambassador to Kosovo, Ms. Danijela Barišić, who congratulated her on her assignment, wishing her success in her further engagement.
Ambassador Barišić expressed the readiness of the Croatian state to deepen the cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing that the cooperation is early and dates back to the 90s.
President Osmani thanked Ambassador Barišić for Croatia’s support to Kosovo in various periods and also expressed readiness for interstate cooperation to be extended to areas of mutual interest.
In this context, President Osmani mentioned the situation with the pandemic, emphasizing the fact that the institutions of Kosovo are doing their utmost to provide the necessary amount of vaccines for all citizens as soon as possible. She stressed that this time requires global solidarity, so she expressed hope in the assistance of friend countries to provide vaccines.
