Today, President Vjosa Osmani received in a meeting the UN Development Coordinator, Ms. Ulrika Richardson and the Heads of all United Nations agencies operating in the Republic of Kosovo.
On this occasion, Ms. Richardson, on behalf of all United Nations agencies, congratulated President Osmani on taking office, expressing the full readiness and support for the continuation of the excellent cooperation already built over the years.
Whereas, President Osmani congratulated all the Agencies for the work done and for the extraordinary contribution to the improvement of the socio-economic situation in the country, and for addressing many issues which have not always received the proper public focus.
“Undoubtedly the main priority now is to ensure the vaccine for our citizens and the best possible management of the pandemic. At the same time, I want to emphasize that the new institutions in the country will promote a new leadership mentality, which focuses on improving the well-being of the citizens, advancing gender equality, guaranteeing social cohesion, and environmental protection as a precondition for the protection of our health”, emphasized President Osmani.
The parties agreed on continuous cooperation and concretization of the engagement through the implementation of projects that directly help in meeting the development objectives for our country.
