President Osmani received representatives of institutions and organizations involved in clarifying the fate of those who forcefully disappeared during the war to discuss the establishment of the Presidential Commission for Transitional Justice

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received representatives of institutions and several organizations engaged in clarifying the fate of those who forcefully disappeared during the recent war in Kosovo.

The preparations of the Office of the President regarding the establishment and functioning of the Presidential Commission for Transitional Justice, which stems from the Transitional Justice Strategy of the Republic of Kosovo, were discussed at the meeting.

The participants reiterated the request for the approval of the Draft Law on Missing Persons for the needs of the families of the missing to be addressed. At the same time, they confirmed their readiness for close cooperation with the Office of the President for the establishment and implementation of the Presidential Commission.

President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the commitment of those present in clarifying the fate of the forcefully disappeared and reaffirmed her support in this important process.
