The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a meeting a team of the EU Kosovo Election Observation Mission, led by the MEP Mr. Lukas Mandl.
This mission was in Kosovo at the invitation of President Osmani in order to monitor the progress of local elections which were held in Kosovo on October 17th, 2021.
The proceedings of local elections which were assessed as the most democratic elections ever organized were discussed at the meeting and the trust in the integrity of this process was also potentiated. President Osmani stressed that she is proud of the level of democracy that Kosovo has achieved, thus becoming a model for the region and beyond.
