The President of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu met with the Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani at the Doha Forum.
The President highly praised the amicable relations between our two countries. In the context of the Doha Forum, President Osmani reiterated the joint efforts of Kosovo and Qatar as two peace-loving countries, the readiness to address contemporary challenges.
The President thanked the Prime Minister for his support to Kosovo since the post-war period, including the implementation of various projects funded by the people and the state of Qatar. Also, President Osmani expressed the readiness of our institutions to expand economic and trade cooperation with the State of Qatar.
The President praised Qatar's important role in supporting Kosovo in various international initiatives. She stressed the need to advance diplomatic cooperation by joining international organizations in which we are not yet represented and by increasing the number of recognitions for Kosovo's independence.
