President Osmani met with the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr. Dritan Abazoviq

On the side-lines of the South-eastern Europe Democracy Summit which is being held in Montenegro, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met with the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic.

At this meeting, President Osmani and Prime Minister Abazoviq discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the possibilities for their further advancement.

President Osmani said that Kosovo appreciates and supports the cooperation with Montenegro in all areas, emphasizing the possibility of exchanging experiences on the European integration process. Furthermore, President Osmani asked for the support of the Government of Montenegro on Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe in particular, as well as in international organizations in general.

President Osmani and Prime Minister Abazoviq reiterated the importance of cooperation between the countries of the region on this occasion. President Osmani stressed the importance of cooperation built on the premises of equality and inclusion, as well as the fact that Kosovo supports the continuation of cooperation within the Berlin process. Regarding the developments in Europe as a result of the war on Ukraine, the two leaders also discussed the continued importance of coordination of actions with the European Union in relation to Russian aggression on Ukraine.
