After the positive evaluation of the performance of the Central Election Commission by the European Union, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting the Chairman of the CEC Mr. Kreshnik Radoniqi, who informed her with the activities carried out by this institution in the last municipal elections.
President Osmani emphasized that the CEC has proved its integrity and organizational skills with the recent elections, thus advancing the citizens' trust in the CEC.
According to President Osmani, this performance of the CEC has been praised by the EU monitors themselves, who have observed the recent elections. She said that the country needs credible institutions with integrity and gave her support to the CEC activities, with wishes that the demonstrated standards continue to be maintained.
