The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, in the continuation of the meetings in New York, met with the leader of the Haitian delegation to the UN General Assembly, at the same time the Foreign Minister of Haiti, Jean Victor Généus.
Good relations were reaffirmed and the opening of new chapters of cooperation was discussed at the meeting.
The general situation in the region and beyond as well as the energy and food crisis was also discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani emphasized that in times like these, solidarity and joint action are prerequisites for overcoming such situations.
In the meeting with Minister Généus, President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo is strongly committed to Euro-Atlantic integration and that it has achieved progress in justice and rule of law reforms. According to her, strengthening the international position of Kosovo is a state priority.
