The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, during her participation at the Munich Security Conference met with General Christopher Cavoli, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) at NATO.
At the meeting with General Cavoli, President Osmani spoke about NATO’s engagements in the Republic of Kosovo during the last 23 years in defense of security and stability.
The latest security developments in the region and beyond were discussed at the meeting with President Osmani expressing the commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to close cooperation with the NATO alliance to ensure lasting peace in this defining time for the European continent.
General Cavoli expressed his gratitude for the manner in which the Republic of Kosovo managed the situation with the Afghan refugees and he highly appreciated the cooperation of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo with KFOR.
