The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has commemorated the Rezalla Massacre on its 23rd anniversary.
On 5 April 1999, Serbia’s genocidal regime forces surrounded the houses of the village of Rezalla and brutally killed 98 boys and men.
“Trying to hide the crime traces, the perpetrators had 44 victims disappear, some of whom were found years later in a mass grave in Rudnica, Serbia. The truth cannot be hidden, so it will be our constant commitment. Justice is needed for Rezalla and every place in Kosovo where crimes have been committed. “The fallen in this massacre will never be forgotten and along with the freedom anniversaries will always be remembered!” emphasized President Osmani.
