The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, commemorated the 25th anniversary of the massacre at the Mitrovica Green Market.
25 years ago, on March 13 1999, 7 innocent civilians aged 5-65, were cruelly killed at the Mitrovica Green Market by the grenades of the forces of the Milosevic’s genocidal regime.
In this macabre act, 128 people were injured, including children, women, elderly and youngsters.
This massacre is one of the most authentic testimonies of the brutality of a criminal regime, which aimed to exterminate Albanians.
Today, we honor the memory of those killed that day, while our commitment to justice remains constant.
May the memory of those killed at the Mitrovica Green Market remain eternal!
