In honour of the 15th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu has awarded Presidential Medals to personalities from the sphere of culture, sports, security and personalities who have sacrificed for the freedom of Kosovo.
Below is the second list of the awardees:
– Besarta Jashari, a survivor of the massacre of the Jasharaj family, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Ferdonije Qerkezi is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Fadil Muqolli, Poklek Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit, with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Leutrim Caraku, Poklek Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Ramë Nesret Shabani, Reçak Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Skender Osmani, Izbica Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Saranda Bogujevci, Podujeva Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Fatime Konjuhi, Izbica Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Ismet Rukolli, Rrezalla Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Misin Deliu, Rrezalla Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit – Post mortem, with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Zarife Morina, Rogova e Hasit Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
– Fatmire Berisha, Rogova e Hasit Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit, with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice, battle for justice and special contribution to the defense of the truth and the disclosure of the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.

– Zojë. Prendi, Meja Massacre, is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit – Post mortem, with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice to the freedom of Kosovo.
– Pashkë Markaj, Meja Massacre (Korenica), is awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit – Post mortem, with the motivation for the extraordinary sacrifice to the freedom of Kosovo.
